YumNums Freeze-Dried Candy is a Black-owned, family-run candy company from DeLand, Florida, built on one product nobody else on Earth makes: Shapow Sticks — freeze-dried fruit roll-ups finished with an extra sugar coating, applied by hand in small batches.
Then the famous people started showing up. The business in one paragraph
Founded about a year and a half ago, YumNums sells direct from yumnumscandy.com (plus TikTok Shop, Etsy, and Depop for merch), ships US-wide at $7 flat with free shipping over $25, and drives roughly half its orders from social media — one Shapow Sticks reel passed 800,000 views, and the Facebook page drew 588,000 views in a single month. YumNums is owned by Trevor Leach and his wife Asharae (Watermelon Yum Nums LLC); Trevor's mother makes the sea moss line carried in the store, and his brother's Buttersweet Candles are sold there too — a whole family in one storefront.
