Most people don’t know this part of the story.

Before YumNums was a brand… it was survival.

Back when I was locked up, the days were long, and the food? Terrible.

So we got creative.

We mixed snacks, tested little recipes, and learned how to make something sweet out of nothing.

That’s where I learned to experiment with candy — how flavors change, how textures react, how to turn simple ingredients into something different.

I didn’t know it back then, but that skill was planting the seed for my future.

Fast-forward to coming home…

I had a second chance, a freeze dryer, and the same mindset that kept me pushing when times were rough:

“If you don’t see a lane, make one.”

I took the candy knowledge I learned inside, started freeze-drying it, and the results were CRAZY.

Crunchier, puffier, louder flavor.

Something completely different from what you can buy in stores.

I slapped a name on it — YumNums — and the rest is history.
