Our Story

YumNums didn’t come from some candy factory — it came from me. I first came up with the idea while I was serving time. Every time I made a batch inside, it sold out before I even thought about keeping some for myself. Even the correctional officers were eating it. One of them laughed and said, “Man, you could be out there making your own candy, and instead you’re in here . 

That stuck with me.

When I got out, I didn’t waste time. I bought a freeze dryer, set up in my kitchen, and started flipping regular candy into something brand new — light, crunchy, colorful, and unforgettable. That’s how YumNums was born.

This isn’t just candy to me. It’s proof that second chances can be sweet. Every bag you open is a piece of that journey.
