What Are YumNums? The Question Everybody Keeps Asking

People ask us this every single day — in the comments, in the DMs, at the gas station. So let's answer it one time, all the way:

YumNums is freeze-dried candy, made right here in DeLand, Florida.

We're Watermelon Yum Nums LLC — a family-owned, Black-owned small business. It's me (Trevor), my wife, and a kitchen full of freeze dryers running day and night. No factory. No warehouse full of strangers. Just us, making candy in small batches and shipping it all over the country.

So what does freeze-dried even mean?

Regular candy is soft and chewy. Freeze-drying pulls the water out of it, and what's left is light, crispy, and CRUNCHY — and the flavor gets louder. Everything you loved about the candy, turned up, with a crunch you can hear across the room. That's why every taste-test video ends with that face. You know the face.

The two headliners

YumNums — the squares. These are MY creation. I came up with them myself — nobody handed me this recipe, and nobody else makes them like this. The one that started it all is Original Watermelon, and the family grew from there: Sour Blast, Green Apple Sour, Green Apple Original, and more.

Shapow Sticks. These start as fruit roll-ups — then we do a few extra things to them that stay in the family (some things you just don't put on the internet), and finish them with an extra sugar coating that gives them that frosty look and that snap. Roll-up flavor, freeze-dried crunch, frosty finish. They're the #1 seller for a reason.

One honest thing before you order

Freeze-dried candy is BRITTLE. That's what makes it crunch like that — but it also means some pieces can crack on the ride to you. We pack every order with care, and cracked or not, it eats exactly the same and it's still good. We'd rather tell you straight than sell you a picture-perfect promise.

How to get some

Everything's at YumNumsCandy.com. Shipping is a flat $7 — and FREE on orders $25 and up. Use code TRYYUMNUMS for 15% off your first order.

We're on a public Road to 1,000 Orders — the counter on the homepage is real, straight from this store. Every order gets us one closer.

Now you know what YumNums are. Only question left: which one are you trying FIRST — the squares or the Shapow Sticks?
